What this quote means is that to not choose the wrong no matter what. Bad is bad no matter what. And good is good at all times.For example you're at a party and you're having a good time and suddenly people start drinking and smoking. What do you do? It's better to be alone than in bad company don't fall into peer pressure. When you leave that party everyone is making fun of you calling you a sissy. When you look back no one is behind you're alone. You choose the right because 10 minutes later you see the cops go to that party. And all those people get arrested consequences always come with your actions. They could be bad or good depending on what you did.
