When Thomas S. Monson was an eight year old boy him and his friend decided that they wanted to start a camp fire. They lived in a cabin near wildlife which means there was a lot of grass and trees. They started pulling out weeds from the ground so they can have a place to start the fire. Thomas got an idea he told his friend why dont they just start a fire with the pile of weeds they just pulled out. Thomas and his friend agreed so they went to go get matches to start the fire. Once they started the fire they were surprised but then they realized that the fire started spreading very fast and they couldn't do nothing about it bull yell for help. So these girls came with huge damp rags eventually they put out the fire. That day Thomas S. Monson learned that 'Obedience is the great test of life.'
