Columbus Day

Columbus Day is a national holiday in the U.S. this holiday represents the arrival of Christopher Columbus in the New World on October 12 1492. The first Columbus celebration took place in New York in 1792. In many parts of the united states Columbus day is celebrated with local group host parades, colorful costumes,music and Italian food.
